Tucker's Story

This year I decided to try some new projects like chickens and entomology. I continued to go to Lego Robotics and Shooting Sports. In Lego robotics I built robots and programed them to battle other robots. In Shooting Sports I competed in the air rifle, air pistol and .22. My favorite thing about shooting sports was shooting the .22. In March I started to get ready for my pigs. I bought a hampshire from Utah and a yorkshire from the Evanston YAP sale. My Hampshire's name was Joel, and my Yorkshire's name was Justin Case. My Brother's pig wouldn't let Joel eat or drink and Joel got stressed out and had a heart attack. I was sad when I heard what happened.
I attended Quality assurance in Evanston and in Afton this year. I learned about pig breeds and how to give them a shot. I also learned how to tell if a pig is sick. I also went to county contest day this year. I met new kids from my county and gave an impromtu speech. I learned a lot more about livestock judging this year.
I am excited for 4H camp and the Lincoln County Fair. I have had fun working with my family and hanging out with my brother at 4H activities.
